 For some of us, our homes may be our biggest investments.  For this reason, it is our responsibility to protect them.

If  you have noticed, builders are constructing new homes in our area. The  value of some of these homes exceeds $500,000. This is great for our  community.  However, we must strive to improve the community and  increase the value of our homes.  Presently, our homes are selling below  their market value.  If an individual property is not cared for, it is  reflected upon Grove Place subdivision, as a whole entity, not just that  individual property; and as a result, the value depreciates. We can  improve our neighborhood and increase our market value by keeping yards  well kept. Please make sure your yard is properly cared for on a weekly  basis. Fines are being imposed on those who have consistently received  notices every year.   We have beautiful homes - let us make an effort to  maintain, or better yet, increase their values.

 All members of the neighborhood should be aware that we have had  break-ins over the winter. It is my understanding that the ring that had  targeted our neighborhood has been arrested. However, you need to take  extra precautions. Please make sure that your security systems are set  daily. If you do not have a security system, we greatly advise you to  get one. The break-ins have occurred during the day. This is when most  of us are out of our homes working. Please keep your eye out for any  suspicious activity in our neighborhood. Make sure that you lock your  car if you leave it sitting out at night. A car was stolen from the  driveway a few weeks ago. If you see anything or hear anything that  makes you suspect trouble, call the police. We must work together to  protect our property.
